DeckMate is run by a small Melbourne carpentry business. Emails come to us directly, and we answer them ourselves.
Do not email — post the job. It goes to local carpenters straight away and you get quotes back from several of them, which is faster than us forwarding your message.
Post a deck jobSign up and the board is there. Three full quotes are free and no card is needed. Email us if you would rather ask a question first.
How it works for tradiesEmail is the right channel. Tell us what you are after and we will come back to you.
info@deckmate.com.auWe are on the tools during the day, so replies usually land in the evening — allow one business day. If it is about a job you have already posted, mention the suburb and we will find it faster.

If you have a photo of the spot, send it. One picture of the back of the house usually answers more than a paragraph.
No. DeckMate is where you post the job and compare quotes. The carpenter who quotes it is a separate business, with their own registration and insurance — check theirs the way you would check any builder's.
Only a carpenter who takes a slot on your job — a maximum of five, and they see it after they commit, not before. Your details are never sold as a lead and never shown on a public listing.

Email us and say so, or delete your account inside the app, which removes it directly. Either way it goes.
DeckMate is operated by Skyline Carpentry Pty Ltd, a registered Victorian building company working out of Melbourne. We do not publish a street address because we work on site rather than from an office — email reaches us the same day.
Privacy questions, or want your data removed? Email the same address — see our privacy policy.
